Mom 2 Mom Sales can be a fantastic resource for moms. They offer a two-fold purpose. First they provide moms with a means to sell their children's gently used clothes, toys, shoes and accessories in a safer public environment. Second they provide moms with a great place to shop for their children, where they can purchase items at a fraction of the retail cost. This allows moms to buy a higher brand item than she may normally be able to afford, and many times when her child is done with it she can resell it for nearly the price she paid for it.
There are two types of Mom 2 Mom Sales in Michigan.
The first is usually a 4 to 6 hour sale where moms rent a table or space to directly sell their maternity, baby and kid related items. Each mom sets up their table to display their items for sale and keeps the proceeds.
The second type is set up as a department store where moms provide the items to sell and receive a percentage of the amount of the sale (often called consignment sales). While moms price and tag their items to sell (some sales do have VIP tagging where they will tag the items for you), they do not have to be present at the sale. These sale events can be a few hours to multiple days.
Both of these types of sales are great to shop at to get everything from baby gear, toys and books to teen clothes and shoes!
