About The Publisher: Krista Nesbit

Welcome to Macaroni KID Lake Orion · Rochester Hills · Oxford!

Hi there! I'm Krista Nesbit, your local Macaroni KID publisher — and a proud Oakland County lifer. After graduating from Oakland University, I took a bit of a detour to San Diego (no regrets — that's where I found my amazing husband!). We made our way back to Michigan in 2015 and have happily called Oxford home ever since. Our wonderful daughter keeps our days full and our hearts fuller, and on any given weekend you'll find our family out exploring everything this community has to offer.

I've been a Macaroni KID subscriber since 2018 and jumped at the chance to become editor and publisher in November 2022. What drew me in from the start — and still does — is the hyper-local focus. This is your go-to source for free and budget-friendly family fun, informative articles, local guides, easy recipes, creative crafts, and so much more.

My goal is simple: to be the resource you reach for first whenever you're wondering "what should we do today?"
