Nothing screams the beginning of summertime like getting your hands dirty from strawberry picking! June marks the beginning of the U-Pick season in Michigan and as it's been a cooler spring, many farms will not open for U-Pick strawberries until June 12-16 and only last a few short weeks.
Following is a list of local U-Pick strawberry farms — Be sure to call ahead before venturing out to confirm they have berries available to pick.
Middleton Berry Farm

U-Pick strawberries will be available beginning on Monday, June 12th. Visit their Facebook page for updates.
Strawberries are $2/lb and there is a $5 picking minimum. You are encouraged to bring your own containers (be sure to have your container weighed before you start picking) or you may purchase large picking boxes for $1 or $.50 for quart boxes. Please bring cash or check for payment.
Westview Orchards
