1. Cranbrook Institute of Science and Art Museum FREE Third Thursdays
Every third Thursday of the month, visitors can receive free admission to Cranbrook Institute of Science from 5 - 8pm AND Cranbrook Art Museum from 11am - 8pm. Walk-ins are welcome! Please note that due to capacity limits, entrance is not guaranteed. This event is made possible by the courtesy of the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan.
2. Downtown Oxford Concerts in the Park - Toppermost
Thursday evening head Downtown Oxford. At Centennial Park Toppermost, an amazing Beatles cover band, will be playing some great tunes you'll be sure to know. Grab your friends, family, blankets, chairs and snacks and head to this fun FREE event!
3. Wet and Wild Wednesdays
Wednesday at noon, slide over to the Museum for some summer fun! You’ll find entertainment, two huge slip and slides, a Rochester Hills Fire Truck, cool sprinklers for little kids, wading in Stoney Creek and water activities sponsored by the Clinton River Watershed Council. No registration required, $5 each.
4. Food Truck Fridays with Showcase Performance!
Friday from 5-9pm, The Village of Rochester Hills will host a variety of savory and sweet food trucks and showcase performances by local talent in Festival Park. BRAVO Italian Kitchen will also be hosting a Mobile Bar for guests who would like to purchase alcoholic beverages to enjoy in Festival Park during the performances. There will also be lawn games and sidewalk chalk each week. Bring your appetite and your lawn chairs and blankets as you enjoy some free quality entertainment outdoors.
5. MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’ at the Village
Wednesday at 10, bring your little ones to The Village to boogie down! North Oakland Dance Company will be out in Festival Park entertaining folks of all ages. Experience the love of dance and learn proper techniques and moves that will have you coming back for more week after week.
