It's the end of July! Finish this month off with a bang and attend some fun local events.
These are Macaroni KID Lake Orion - Rochester Hills - Oxford's picks for the five things to do with kids this week. Click on the links for all the details:
1. Stream Science
Thursday at 10am or 1pm, come to Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm and cool off in Stoney Creek with hands on activity kits! While you splash around, you can use nets, magnifying glasses, bug boxes, and more to learn about the critters that call the creek home. Staff will be on site near the creek with available supplies. Limited kits available on a first come, first serve basis.
2. Downtown Oxford Concerts in the Park - The O’Dwyer Brothers
Thursday evening head Downtown Oxford. At Centennial Park The O’Dwyer Brothers will be playing some great tunes you'll be sure to know. Grab your friends, family, blankets, chairs and snacks and head to this fun FREE event!
3. Tommystock 2023!
Friday and Saturday is this year's Tommystock at Camp Agawam in Lake Orion! Free entry to event and the beach. There will be live music, arts and crafts, food, drinks (frozen drinks and beer)! You'll have a blast at this family friendly event.
4. Tons of Trucks 2023
Saturday, head to Borden Park for this FREE event where spectators have a chance to check out all of Rochester's service vehicles and meet the great staff that operate these vehicles. Police, Fire and Rescue; Construction and Maintenance; along with many other vehicles will be there. We will have some food and program vendors, lawn games, inflatables and a rock wall from Oakland County Parks for the kids to burn off their energy!
5. Mobile Dueling Pianos at the Village
Saturday from 6-9pm, Mobile Dueling Pianos will be on-site in Festival Park energizing the crowds with a free high-energy, interactive rock n roll, comedy show that will be something all ages will enjoy. Anyone in the crowd can request any song, and the piano players will play it!! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and get ready to sing, dance, and clap along! BRAVO Italian Kitchen will also be hosting a Mobile Bar for guests who would like to purchase alcoholic beverages to enjoy in Festival Park during the performances.
