Join the City of Rochester on Sunday, April 15 as they participate in Good Deeds Day by collecting household items for the Neighborhood House Clothes Closet.
Rochester’s Good Deeds Day will be held at the Rochester Fire Department, 277 E. Second Street, from 10 am – 2 pm. The day will also include kids’ activities, tours of the Fire Station, fire & police vehicles and much more.
The little things that make a house a home. When you are living paycheck to paycheck or worse, it’s the small comforts you go without. The Neighborhood House Clothes Closet provides new or gently used household items that many of us take for granted. New items needed include kitchen utensils, can openers, measuring cups/spoons, pots and pans, small appliances (coffee makers, toasters, blenders, etc.), bath towels, throw rugs, full & king size sheets, comforters, bed pillows and pillowcases.
