Join us for old-fashioned holiday fun! Enjoy chestnuts roasted over an open fire, visit our Outdoor Engagement team to learn about the mammals and natural resources of Stony Creek, and enjoy live music. Whether you want to craft, relax with a snack, learn some local history, snap spectacular winter photos, enjoy live music, or explore nature - this event is for you!
Guests can visit the All Aboard! Model Train display that will fill the Calf Barn. Farm wagons transport guests to all Museum buildings
Please dress for the weather, as most of this event is held outdoors and spread out across the Museum grounds and buildings.

Permanent Exhibits & House Tour
The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is open for drop in hours on select dates this Holiday season from 12 - 3pm. Included with your admission is a guided tour of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse at 1:00pm, access to featured and permanent exhibits, self-guided tours of the Bull Barn, Milk House, Equipment Barn, and Children’s Garden, as well as the nearby Stoney Creek Cemetery. Please arrive early if you plan to take the guided tour, as there is limited capacity.
Featured Exhibit: All Aboard! Model Railroad Exhibit
The Stoney Creek Model Railroad Club has been planning this model train exhibit for years and cannot wait to share it with you! The Calf Barn will be filled with modules that have been painstakingly built in scale and show locations near and far. A scavenger hunt through the exhibit adds to the fun! This wonderfully detailed exhibit, All Aboard! Is a perfect family outing during the holiday season.
