Join others with an outdoor science nature adventure. We will explore several activities from the new Project Learning Tree guide, WILD and Flying WILD. Bring Spring Alive with you family or students, all adaptable to every grade level, K-12. Much of our time will be outdoors at Friendship Park in Orion Township where we will plant a memorial tree donated Orion Parks. We will spend time with group Learning Stations doing activities from PLT and WILD. The activities are guided by Michigan's state interdisciplinary objectives in ecosystems, birds, plants and other critters' interactions. Be prepared to get a little wet and dirty. Registration is free, an optional $25 is due for PLT and other curriculum materials to the instructor Mike Mansour. Registration deadline April 17. State of MI credits will be free.
