2023 Easter Events Guide

Easter is hopping up quickly! This year Easter Sunday is April 9. Check out these fun local events and get them on your calendar. Check back often as this guide will be updated with new events when details become available! Plan ahead and reserve your spots early - many of the egg hunts and other activities require pre-payment and/or registration. 

Lake Orion Easter Events 

Bunny Bop
Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 9:30am-12:30pm
Spring is in the air! Hop on over for a photo with a special bunny, a craft project, and an egg hunt. Bring your basket; youth will be broken down by age for the egg hunt. Pre-registration is required, spaces are limited. Children in carriers and adults with registered participants are free. $12R/$14NR Contact 248-391-0304, ext 3500 for tickets and registration. 

Breakfast with the Bunny
April 1, 2, 7, & 8 - Seating at 9:30am and 11:30am
Come have Breakfast with the Bunny! Canterbury Village's cozy old-world pub will be decorated and welcoming you as their special guests. Enjoy a delicious, hearty breakfast while making a memory that will last a lifetime. Reservations required! 

Canterbury Village Eggstravaganza
April 1, 2, 7, & 8, from noon-5pm
What could be more exciting than an egg hunt for treats? How about the Easter Bunny's helicopter raining eggs from the sky?! Children can collect 10 bunny eggs from the helicopter drop zone and redeem them at the shops for prizes! Lots of Easter Activities throughout the village - Lawn Games, Petting Zoo, FREE Photos in the bunny barn with the Easter Bunny and much more! Tickets required!

Divine Grace Easter Egg Hunt
April 1 from 10-11am
Divine Grace Lutheran Church and School invite the community to join in with our annual Easter Egg Hunt. There will be a children's message and egg hunting by age groups. This is for ages 10 and under. Also our friendly staff will be on hand to answer questions about our church and school. Can't wait to see you there!

Flashlight Egg Hunt
Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 8pm
Don't let those older kids miss out on all the fun! Join us for our annual Flashlight Egg Hunt at Camp Agawam, Fort Pontiac. This isn't your typical egg hunt! Dress for the weather; the event is held rain or shine and don't forget your flashlight! Parents are welcome to stay, watch all the fun, and enjoy the campfire and hot cocoa. $10R/$12NR For ages 9-15. Contact 248-391-0304, ext 3500 for cost info and to register. 

Lake Orion American Legion Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11am SHARP
Make sure to get to Children's Park a little early because the hunt will begin at 11am sharp. After head across the street to the American Legion for lunch for kids 10 and under! The Easter Bunny will be there! 

Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet and Fork N Pint 
Sunday, April 9, 2023 10am - 2pm
Reservations are required and seats fill up fast! Our bunch buffet features a variety of items including Roast Beef Tenderloin, Chicken & Waffles, Smoked Salmon, Cass Lake Chicken, Baked Cod, Fresh Fruits, Salads, Assorted Desserts, Traditional Breakfast Items and Much More!

Paint Creek's Easter Brunch
Sunday, April 9, 2023 from 11:30-2pm
We will have photos with the Easter Bunny and kids easter egg hunt!
Menu: Spiral glazed ham, sliced beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, tossed salad, fresh baked rolls, omelette station, waffle bar, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, breakfast pastries and desserts. Reservations Required.

Rochester Easter Events 

St. John’s Easter Egg-stravaganza
Saturday, March 25, 2023
Free, family-friendly event, open to the community. Enjoy crafts, interactive activities, and more. Sign-up is required. This designed for children ages 2 to 5th grade. To sign up, visit stjohnrochester.org.

The Village of Rochester Hills - Easter Bunny Visits & Scavenger Hunt!
March 26, April 1-2 & 7-8, 2023
Come to The Village of Rochester Hills and see the Easter Bunny! Visits will be from 12pm-6pm. There will also be a complimentary scavenger hunt to do after your visit! Make sure to bring your camera! No appointment is needed.

Easter Egg Hunt at Revive Church (Inside Lutheran High Northwest)
Join us at Revive Church for an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 1st 10am-12pm. Check-in begins at 9:45am and egg hunt begins at 10:15am sharp! There will also be games, crafts, and breakfast refreshments. Don't miss this fun morning with your family! This is a FREE event. Please register your children for the correct age group for the egg hunt. 

RARA Rochester Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:15am (kids ages 1-4), 10:45am (kids ages 5-7), 11:15am (kids ages 8-11)
Come out for RARA's 9th Annual Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter Bunny will be joining us for this wonderful family gathering! Your child can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, so don't forget to bring your camera! Small games and activities will be provided. You must pre-register each child to participate.

Everything Eggs!
Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 11am
Many animals lay eggs. Join friends at Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve and explore different types of eggs you might see here in Michigan. Then go for an egg hunt through the trail and at the dinosaur dig. Registration is required.

Rochester Play Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 8, 2023 doors at 8:45am
Ages 1-3 @ 9am around Toddler Structure
Ages 4+ @ 9:15am in Big Structure
This is a reservation required ‘PRIVATE’ event. Indoor event with limited capacity to 100 guests. Stop by or call 248.650.PLAY (7529) for required pre-registration and pre-payment. 

Easter Egg-Straviganza at University Presbyterian Church
Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 3pm
Join us for UPC's second annual Easter Egg-Straviganza! Join us for an afternoon of Easter fun including an Easter Egg Hunt, Crafts, Stories, Snacks, and more!

Orion KKids Easter Trail
Saturday, April 8, 2023 - 9:30am-10:30am session or 11:30am-12:30pm session - Registration required.
Hop on over to Bear Creek Park for a KKids Easter Trail Scavenger Hunt! There will be a scavenger hunt along a trail, donuts, an Easter message, and an Easter Egg Hunt! This event will be held outdoors, so be sure to dress for the weather. The cost is $5 per family. Bear Creek Park is located at 740 W Snell Rd, in Rochester. Looking forward to seeing you for some egg-straordinary fun!

Easter Evidence Hunt
Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 2-4pm
Easter is for the whole family at Faith Church! Whether you are searching for hidden eggs, or the true meaning behind Easter, we have got you covered! Jesus is risen and we want to celebrate! All are welcome for a FREE Easter egg hunt, candy, fun games, and a powerful message of the resurrection. Bring an easter basket if you have one. This event invites parents and their children in preschool – 5th grade.

Dolly & Me Easter Tea Party
Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 2-3:30pm
Dress in your best Easter dresses, hats and gloves and enjoy a Luncheon that will include: Tea or Lemonade, 3 tea sandwiches per child: peanut butter (or substitute) & jelly tea sandwiches plus a chocolate brownie, and an American style scone served with clotted cream plus fresh fruit cut into cute shapes! Each child leaves with a hot cocoa bomb to enjoy at home.

Easter Brunch at the Mills!
Sunday, April 9, 2023 from 10am - 2pm
Enjoy Executive Chef Josh Gomola's special Easter Brunch Menu, along with Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar's, and of course, the Easter Bunny! Reservations are required. 

Oxford Easter Events 

Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt
Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 8:30pm
For ages 10-17. An egg hunt with a twist– you’ll need your flashlights to hunt in the dark! Don’t forget to check your batteries and basket to collect your eggs. Turn eggs in for prizes and find the special egg to win the grand prize. Call 248-628-1720 for cost info and to register. 

Easter Bunny Bonanza
Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 1pm
Join the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Staff in welcoming the Easter Bunny with an Easter Egg Hunt and Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The event will begin with a traditional Easter Egg Hunt followed by the Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The bunny chopper will fly over and shower the kids with thousands of white Ping-Pong Balls. Each child will receive a special gift commemorating the special day. Call 248-628-1720 for ticket cost info.
