Get ready for summer by joining the City of Rochester Hills and Oakland County Parks for the first-ever Outdoor Adventure Kickoff in the Hills event at Spencer Park from 11-3 on Saturday. 2. "Yo, Vikings!" (children's musical at Oakland University) Pajama Performance!
Friday night, get your kids in their pjs early and head to OU's Children's Musical Production: "Yo, Vikings!". This fun play combines sweeping melodies, thrilling Viking chants, and funky rock ‘n roll with a beautiful, heart-warming story to engage and excite every member of the family. 3. 47th Annual Rochester Hills Lions Club Leader Dog Spring Carnival
This year's Spring Carnival features carnival midway rides from North American Midway Shows, games, food and family fun. Buy individual ride and food tickets or purchase one-price all-day wristbands. The Carnival will be held at Hampton Village Center (Target) parking lot on NE Corner of Rochester Rd. and Auburn Rd. The Rochester Hills Carnival is on until Sunday, May 21. Proceeds from the Spring Carnival benefit Leader Dog for the Blind and other Rochester Hills Lions Club Charities. Enjoy this Rochester/Rochester Hills springtime tradition!
4. Lake Orion Art & Flower Fair
Celebrate Spring with us at the annual Art & Flower Fair! Get outside and get downtown! May 19-21st. The event offers 100 art and flower vendors, live artist demonstrations, a kid's area with many games, crafts, and cool things to do, and a beer garden with live entertainment all weekend, Lake Orion style! Art, music, shopping, and outdoor fun make a memorable weekend in downtown Lake Orion.
5. Jumperoo at Urban Air-Oxford
Tuesday and Friday mornings, Urban Air Oxford opens early for Jumperoo! Jumperoo is a special time where the park is open only for children 5 and under. The park opens to the public at noon so plan to stay and play all day.
