Father's Day is a special day to celebrate the dads in our lives, so make the most of it! Here are some ideas:

1. Food Truck Fridays with Showcase Performance!
Friday from 5-9pm, The Village of Rochester Hills will host a variety of savory and sweet food trucks and showcase performances by local talent in Festival Park. BRAVO Italian Kitchen will also be hosting a Mobile Bar for guests who would like to purchase alcoholic beverages to enjoy in Festival Park during the performances. Each week will bring something new to experience. There will also be lawn games and sidewalk chalk each week. Bring your appetite and your lawn chairs and blankets as you enjoy some FREE quality entertainment outdoors.
2. Juneteenth Freedom Day Event!
Come join us to celebrate Freedom Day for Juneteenth Saturday, June 17th from 12pm-10pm in Downtown Pontiac. Community members will enjoy good food, entertainment, fireworks and other fun activities while we commemorate Juneteenth Independence Day.
3. Free Parks Entry Day - All Oakland County Parks
Monday is Oakland County Parks and Recreation Free Entry Day in honor of Juneteenth! Visitors can enjoy free daily park entry with access to trails, dog parks, playgrounds, fishing spots, and beaches at Oakland County Parks. Park hours are 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset, or as posted at the park.
4. Storytime for All Ages Outside at the Library
On Tuesday, bring your lunch and a blanket to the Oxford Library lawn for stories and songs. In case of rain, storytime will be held indoors.
5. FREE Family Movie Night - Puss in Boots at Wildwood Amphitheater
Head to Wildwood Amphitheater Wednesday at 7pm for FREE Family Movie Night! Make sure to bring some chairs and blankets and get comfy on the lawn.
