1. Independence Fest including Veterans Celebration 2024!
It’s our Nation’s birthday and you can celebrate it close to home, in Clarkston. Purchase tasty goodies on-site, including many of your carnival favorites, shop local crafters and watch awesome live entertainment. Fun for the entire family! Bring lawn chairs and blankets for your comfort and enjoy one of the best parts of our community, Clintonwood Park! Stay through the evening and enjoy the awesome fireworks display!

2. Wet and Wild Wednesdays
Every Wednesday in July slide over to the Museum for some summer fun! You’ll find musical entertainment, two huge slip and slides, a Rochester Hills Fire Truck, a foam machine for little kids, wading in Stoney Creek and water activities sponsored by the Clinton River Watershed Council.

3. Neighborhood of Stories at Camp Agawam!
You're Invited to the Neighborhood of Stories! Join the Clarkston Independence District Library and the Orion Township Library around local parks this summer for an all ages storytime including stories, singing, dancing, and play. Free admittance. No registration required. See you outside!

4. Music and Me at the Village!
Music & Me is a fun and interactive family music class hosted by Mrs. Calissa from Sing Play Speak. Sing Play Speak offers a unique experience that uses music, movement, and play activities to support speech, language and social skill development as well as parent-child bonding. Get your dancing shoes on and join us at the Village on Wednesday mornings for some fun in the sun! This event is weather dependent.

5. Storytime Outside at the Library!
Bring your lunch and a blanket to the lawn next to the Oxford Public Library (south side) for stories, songs and rhymes. In case of rain, storytime will be moved inside the library!
