Since 1918, Camp Ohiyesa has provided quality summer camp programs in a caring, family environment. At Ohiyesa, there are many challenging opportunities for growth, joy and discovery in a non-competitive and highly supervised atmosphere. The program takes place on Ohiyesa’s beautiful facility, encompassing 300 acres of lake, woods and fields in northwest Oakland County. This natural, forested setting on Fish Lake is convenient, though rustic enough to provide kids with an authentic camp experience.

Challenge Island is a STEAM enrichment program where smart and curious kids work together in teams to solve fun, hands-on “challenges” which teach them about STEAM fundamentals, plus important success skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and much more.  Our 3-hour/5-day camp programs this year include Slimetopia 3:  Slime Chefs on Deck (new around-the-world slimes every day), Island Doll (new businesses, beaches, skiing and more), Pets Palooza (all things pet-related), and STEAM-Warts Academy of Wizards, Spells and Potions.  We are offering morning and afternoon camps in Birmingham, Brandon, Canton, Clarkston, Fenton, Hartland, Rochester, South Lyon and Troy!

We provide hands-on STEAM workshops for students ages 4-14, where they work in small "STEAM Teams" of 4-6 students each, to design and build "challenges" which teach them STEAM fundamentals, crosscurricular topics, and also teamwork and success skills like creativity, critical thinking, brainstorming, and much more.  Our over 400 hours of workshops are available as in-school field trips, family night programs, summer camps, Girl Scout workshops, birthday parties, and more.

Summer day camp FUN for boys and girls ages 3-17. Kids can have so much fun participating in dozens of camps such as dance camps, princess camps, Tik Tok, Hip Hop, cheer camps, DSD Circus camps, musical camps and performances all summer in the HUGE 30,000 square foot theatre and dance studio.  

Deborah's Stage Door Performing Arts Camps are favorites of all the campers. From ages 3-17, kids can rehearse and perform scenes from favorite plays and musicals complete with costumes, sets, props and even lighting. At the end of each camp, the students perform for their parents and families. 

Full and half-day camps are available. DSD will serve lunch and snacks for all day campers and snacks for half-day students. They even provide different choices each day.  

The DSD camps begin June 17 and run through August 15.  The staff is experienced and love children.  They have as much fun as the campers have!

Detroit Tigers Camp is back for its 6th summer! Camp is for ballplayers ages 6-14 and runs Monday thru Friday, 9-3pm. Campers will receive 30 hours of Tigers instruction, a full Tigers uniform, 4 tickets to a Tigers game, VIP trip to Comerica Park, and a Q&A with a current Tigers player.

Interlochen Arts Camp is a world-renowned summer arts program where young artists hone their talents, grow as individuals, and flourish creatively. From across the nation and around the world, artistic students ages 8-18 convene at Interlochen to expand their skills in Creative Writing, Dance, Interdisciplinary Arts, Film & New Media (including Animation), Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts.

Jump Start Clinics are a quick and easy way to get your kids swim-ready, or to advance to the next level while learning how to be safer in and around the water! Jump Start Clinics include four consecutive days of 30-minute swim lessons. These lessons focus on everything from teaching the fundamentals of water safety to fine-tuning stroke technique.

Pre-registration starts May 19th. Clinics will be Monday-Thursday 9-1PM. Sessions beginning 6/10/24 through 8/8/24.

Young authors will tour the mansion and gardens with professional instructors and docents from 9 a.m.until 4 p.m., and workshop with fellow writers in their age group. Advanced writing opportunities will include poetry and prose in genres such art journaling, fantasy, dystopian, historical, personal narrative, and narrative writing. The second half of the camp day will be spent at Oakland University working with other genres of writing and  rendering one of their works into a digital movie that will be uploaded to YouTube. Presentations of one polished work will be conducted at the close of the last day of that week's camp.

Rochester Soccer Club (RSC) Skills & Development Camps are for kids ages 3-12 of all skill levels held at Borden Park, Marshview Park, and the RSC complex. Each age group will be led by Rochester Soccer Club staff members who will engage your child with age-appropriate games, activities, and scrimmages. 

RSC welcomes all 3-12 year-olds to come play, meet new friends, and advance their soccer skills as everyone enjoys playing outside. Day and evening camp times during the months of June and July are offered to best meet your family’s needs.
