1. Find Your Voice Summer Reading Kickoff Party!
This Saturday, June 10th from 11-1pm, celebrate the start of summer at Orion Township Public Library. This outdoor party includes fun for all ages, including inflatable games, climbing wall, balloon animals, henna for teens, kids face painting, and more... like free ice cream from the library Book Bike! Don't miss this fun, FREE, family friendly event! We'll see you there.
2. Seymour Celebration & Crusin’ Down Seymour Classic Car Cruise!
Thursday through Sunday, enjoy Oxford's annual carnival, Seymour Celebration! To kick things off, there will be the Crusin' Down Seymour Classic Car Cruise at 4pm Thursday. Friday and Saturday nights, stick around for live concerts! This is a perfect way to kick off your summer!
3. Donut Be Afraid of Bugs! Classic Bugs on Wheels Experience
Head to the Village of Rochester Hills on Tuesday, June 13! At 11am and 6pm, Nadia aka “The Bug Lady” will give you an up-close and educational experience with a variety of bugs! You will get the chance to learn about many different exotic insects, touch a tarantula, come face to face with a praying mantis, hold the largest species of millipede in the world, and much more! Learn about why these creatures are to be respected for their role in the ecosystem, and not to be feared! The Little Donut Factory will be selling donuts on-site.
4. MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’ at the Village
Wednesdays at 10am, North Oakland Dance Company will be out in Festival Park entertaining folks of all ages. Move and Groove during this fun and FREE event. Experience the love of dance and learn proper techniques and moves that will have you coming back for more week after week.
5. KIDS EAT FREE NIGHT at Sullivan's Public House!
Every Tuesday is KIDS EAT FREE NIGHT at Sullivan's Public House in Oxford!! Don’t cook! Come out and enjoy some delicious Irish faire along with some American staples. Make it your new weekly tradition!
