1. Seymour Celebration
Oxford’s biggest and best summer event returns June 6-9 to Seymour Lake Twp. Park with plenty of carnival rides and games, two nights of fireworks, a classic car cruise and live music. Don't miss all the fun! 


2. Free Family Movie Night - Minions Rise of Gru
This Thursday at 7pm, grab your blankets and friends and get to Wildwood Amphitheatre for a free family movie night! 


3. Splash Into Summer at Deer Lake Beach
Friday afternoon, make your way to Deer Lake Beach in Clarkston for games, food, giveaways and swimming! Kids under 12 must be supervised by a parent or guardian. INFLATABLES, SAND CASTLE CONTEST & BEACH GAMES! FREE ENTRY! PIZZA & DRINKS SOLD ONSITE.


4. Summer Reading Kickoff: Adventure Begins at Orion Township Public Library
Saturday at 11am, celebrate the start of summer with OTPL's fun annual program outside at the library reading gardens. They’ll have blow-up obstacle courses, strolling entertainment, and fun activities hosted by local organizations along with two local food trucks (available for purchase). Register for summer reading during kickoff weekend for a chance to win a family prize pack to a Detroit Tigers game!


5. Kid's Fishing Tournament
Sunday June 9th is Rochester-North Oakland Elks Lodge #2225 kids fishing tournament. They will be starting at 11am lasting until 2pm. The tournament is open to kids of all ages up to 18 years old. They will have prizes for the winners and lunch for all the kids participating. The lodge will supply bait and rods for those who do not have one. Feel free to bring your own equipment, as this is Michigan's Free Fishing weekend there is no need for a fishing license for adults or kids.
